The full harvest moon festival

Actually, I don't know completely our holiday during the spring/summer in Korea. I only remember our independent day on 1st of the March but I think it's not interesting day to me. There is not great celebration, so I would like to introduce my favorite holiday which is the full harvest moon festival. The festival is on the 15th day in August as a lunar calender. it is very similar to the Canada thanksgiving holiday. We get three days off, so sometimes the days continue past the weekend. We could spend five days off. Usually, my family visits our home town to meet father's parents and relatives. At that time, the highway is jammed because this festival is the most important of all Korean holidays. During this holidays, we pay respect to our living relatives and visit the graves of my ancestors to thank taking care of our harvest. When I was a child, I was really excited to go to meet father's relatives in spite of traffic jam because they gave me great gifts or small cash for good memories at home town. However, now I realize why this holiday is important to Korean because this holiday is not only with a family get-together, but also give thanks for their blessing.

"My father wrote about this in his book. Chapter 1... Page 1... Paragraph 1: What is the answer to 99 out of 100 questions?... Money."

If I won $10 million dollars in the lottery, I would do or buy lots of things; However,I think I have to do it first. That is I would build my own company for charity. I really want to help children who suffer from hunger, poverty, civil war and other problems. I am very interested in children's problem because they can't choose any condition for them such as country, family, wealthy and even sex. That's why I want to help their problem. I am sure that even if I gave a very small amount of money to them, their lives could be changed dramatically. They can be had a dream. It is very important. My mom always told me that small charity can be made different in the world. I saw that he, who my mom helps to study, came to my house to say thanks her. She was very happy because he will go to very famous university in the U.S. What a great thing! I believe that money is very important in our life. I mean money is not equally same as spirit satisfied with life but it has to need to reach my dream. Although I don't prey to win the lottery, if it would happen to my real life, I can end up at my goal very quickly. Thank you God !!!

First day for my blog^^

I have created my new blog since today. It is ONLY ENGLISH ZONE. Wow!!!
I don't know what I'll do for my great blog, but I'll try to write about my Calgary life and my emotion during this semester. I hope that I can enjoy this semester with my classmates and improve my English skill. My goal is to fully understand applied grammar to use when I speaking and can write very naturally or perfectly. I know it is very high objective, however, I am trying it during this semester. I'm sure Jeff can help me to reach my goal. Right Jeff?^^
